Universal Law Understanding the Natural Laws of the universe ....and how to make them work for you by Life Coach Rebekah Simpson

Every time we plan to do or think something different, we are given tests to see if that is what we really want. Theses usually show up in the form of distractions or negative thoughts. Recognize these as old limiting beliefs and release them. Or you can transform them into new positive thoughts by declaring in the moment that you choose to stay in alignment with what you want. These may show up in the form of phone calls or emails that make no sense, or people that seem to take up your time. Don’t bother with these, they are just distractions and will only set you back. The best way to know if things are a distraction is to pay close attention to your feelings, then ask yourself, am I giving my energy to what I don’t want? What we are actually doing is creating new beliefs. Once we remove the old beliefs, then we will not be effected by them if they show up again.
As I was trying to think of a good example while writing this, I received a text message on my cell phone. It was someone who I didn't know that said, “Hi I found you and wanted you to check out my profile on friend-trip.org. I was actually expecting something like this to happen as I was writing this. This has happened in the past and I gave about an hour to it before I realized that it was a distraction. Anyway, I typed in the address on-line and it redirected me to a different site that was prompting me to join a membership site. Then I did a Google search for the “friend trip.” Nothing made any sense to what I was searching for, so I got in touch with my feelings and realized quickly that this was a distraction. I deleted the text message, stated out loud that I choose to finish putting this program together and not be distracted. I spent less than one minute on that distraction and started writing again. Then I told myself good job and wrote it in my gratitude journal.
Distraction is not always a bad thing, we can use this to help us as well. For example, we might want to intentionally distract ourselves by chewing gum when we are trying to quit smoking, or going for a walk when we a feeling confused, anxiety, and fear, or cleaning house when we are sad, frustrated, or upset. When we find ourselves in a conversation with someone that is leading down a negative road, we can intentionally distract the other person by changing the subject and focusing on the positive side of the conversation. In this way we can use distraction to help us transform old beliefs and habits.
As with all things in life, there is a challenging side and a supportive side, we just need more understanding of them, then we will know how to make them work for us.

What will you create today?

One of the best ways to create the kind of day you want is to pretend it. In the dictionary it says that to pretend is to stretch, to profess, to simulate, to make believe, and to lay calm. Pre means before in time, place, rank, etc. Tend means to take care of, to manage or operate, to stretch, to be inclined, disposed, or to be directed. And Tendency means an inclination to move or act in a particular direction or way, a course toward some object.
If we pretend or visualize how we want our day to go first thing in the morning, then it is more likely to happen exactly the way we see it. It doesn't have to take a long time, we could do it for five minutes. If we continue to do this consistently, then we will start to see more synchronicity and de ja vu, and have a feeling of having been in a place, talking to these people, or experienced something before.
Studies have shown that the brain doesn't know the difference between visualising something and actually doing it. It still triggers the same emotions, and that is one of the main ingredients to manifesting what you want. Thought, feeling, and action.
Today's Action Plan:
I will pretend my day first thing in the morning.
I will intend safe travels, coming into contact with people who support me, receiving the abundance that the universe has to offer me, love, joy, laughter, and peace. I intend prosperity, health, creativity, and confidence. Everything I do will happen easily and with least effort. I will stay open to new possibilities and opportunities. I will practice non-judgment, and know that everything happens for a reason. I will remain in a place of gratitude for everything that I encounter in this day.
You can add anything you want to this mantra, if you have a job interview, you can see your self going through the process and getting hired. If you have to go out of town, you can see yourself arriving there safely, early and refreshed. If you have to meet someone new, you can pretend the entire scene before you even speak with them.
Remove all negative thoughts, don't even put them in your way. Act as if, what you pretend will come true exactly the way you visualize it.
So then, What will you create today?

The Wheel of Fortune

Something interesting happened today that started yesterday. I was taking a couple on a vortex tour near the Sedona Masonic Temple. The wind was blowing so hard we could barley walk without getting blown over. As we were walking to a secret Native American Medicine Wheel to do a ceremony I noticed a tarot card blow toward my feet, so I picked it up. It was the Wheel of Fortune card and was numbered "10". I am familiar with tarot cards but never really got a good look at them. I thought that was interesting and put it in my pocket. I believe everything happens for a reason and though it would make sense later. Just the day before, a friend had let me borrow a copy of The Science Behind the Secret DVD, I hadn't had an opportunity to watch it before today. I am a huge fan of "The Secret" and was excited to see the science behind it. As I was watching it this morning, it went into a little bit about the Freemasons and tarot cards. Okay, I thought that was funny since I had just yesterday found this card on the property of the Masonic Temple. Interestingly, the DVD stopped before the end and I had a thought to get on the computer and look up what the card meant. The first website I came to explained, "From out of hiding comes the fool, into the sunlight, as if being pulled up from some low, dark point on a wheel. It is time for a change. Staff in hand he heads back out into the world, expecting nothing. But, strangely, things seem to happen to him as the hours go by, good things. Wondering by a water wheel a woman offers him a drink in a golden chalice, and then urges him to keep the cup, just because she likes him; as he wanders by a windmill; he stops to watch a young man swinging a sward; when he expresses his admiration of the weapon, the young man presses it into his hand, insisting that he take it. And finally, when he comes upon a rich merchant sitting in a wagon, right over one of the wheels, the man hands him a bag of money. I like giving away money, explains the merchant, and I decided, just randomly, that the "10Th" person who walked past me today would get this money. You're the tenth. The fool hardly thought he could be surprised, but he is. It is as if everything good that he ever did in his life is being paid back to him, three-fold. All luck this day is his." After reading that I felt that it was in alignment with where I was in my life right now, and I looked to see what the date was yesterday when I found the card, it was in fact 10-10-08. Now, I await to see what happens. I will post it here when I find out. -Rebekah The information about the tarot card was derived from aeclectic.net

Clear the Clutter for a happier and Healthier Mind and Home

I’m sure you have herd the term, “a cluttered house is a cluttered mind?” Do you feel overwhelmed and exhausted? Do you feel like you have too much to do around the house and can’t seem to get anything done? Can you see the floor in your vehicle? What does your yard look like?
Fall is here and its time to finish our summer cleaning projects before winter. It’s a great time to finish outside work because it has finally cooled off a bit. It’s also a good idea to prepare your home for relatives and parties just before the holidays. All of those things you don’t use anymore could be donated to shelters and thrift stores. There will be many families looking for gifts from churches and thrift stores because they don’t have enough money for retail. Your junk could be someone else’s treasure!
What were your “cleaning” goals and plans to accomplish this summer? How much did you get done? It’s not too late to start or finish. The following is an action plan to have your home clean and clear by winter. This is not meant to be done overnight, give yourself about two months to complete this project.
Make a list of everything you want to do.
Organize your list by outside work, vehicle, and home.
Sub-categorize by sections. Example: front yard, back yard, shed, garage. And for the home: Kitchen, dining room, pantry, bathroom 1, 2, living room, laundry room, bedroom1, 2 and 3. Clean and organize one section per week. This should give you plenty of time to rest in between each section. Schedule dates and times you can commit to, and be specific. Ask for help and delegate when possible. Stick to it! Visualize the end result. You will feel so much better, calmer, and clearer when you are done.
Below is an example of the schedule I came up with. Keep in mind to start with the outside work first. I also have kids, so I have included their room into the schedule. Another thing you could do is turn this into a check list, it helps to measure your progress, and you will begin to feel like you have accomplished a lot.
Vehicle
Wash outside; clean inside, clean carpet, floors, and seats.
Outside and Yard Work
Front yard-cut weeds and haul to dump, trim all old leaves from plants and put in compost.
Back yard- weeds and haul to dump, trim all old leaves from plants and put in compost
Shed- prepare unused and unwanted items to take to thrift store. Organize and create extra storage space.
House and Garage
Living room- I do this first because this is what your company will see first
Guest Bathroom-company will need to use this next. Clean under sink, and scrub bathtub, walls, and the door.
Kitchen- Get rid of all unused Tupperware, and mismatched lids and containers. Clean under sink, microwave, and refrigerator.
Dining Room- Clean glass door, wipe down table and chairs.
Pantry-Give unused canned and boxed foods to food bank.
Kids Bedroom 1-Toys/Clothes, walls and door.
Kids Bedroom 2- Toys/Clothes, walls and door.
Master Bedroom- Clean under bed, closet storage,
Master Bathroom- Clean under sink, and scrub bathtub, walls, and the door.
Laundry Room- Clean off shelves, washer and drier, walls and door.
Garage-Organize, clean floors.
Tips:
Helpful questions to ask your self when sorting through your things. Do I want this? Do I need this? Will I wear or use this? Does it fit? Can someone else use this?
One of the things I like to do when cleaning an area is, remove everything, clean it, then start putting things back one by one. This may take longer, but it allows you to look at the things you don’t need and get rid of them, and you will love the clear, un-cluttered space. Also this can allow you to re-arrange things to give it a new energy.

Life Coach Benefits

The Benefits of having a Life Coach & how it can Support and Motivate you By Rebekah Simpson 928-420-2077 “Revolve or Evolve?” Sometimes life can be tough, and a person doesn’t know which direction to go. As a result, they keep revolving in circles and have difficulty moving forward. A Life Coach will help the client find clarity and motivate them to take action based on their wants and needs. By the end of a session, a client will be motivated and have a clear view on what steps to take to achieve his/her goals. With a follow-up session, the Life Coach will check-in with the client to see if they are following through with their action plan.
Life Coaching is about self-growth and taking your life to the next step. The client is always in control of the session; it really is all about them. Life Coaches may use several transformational tools to help their clients find clarity including Hypnotherapy, Guided Imagery, written exercises, affirmations, and role-playing. To help a person visualize the possibilities of what they really want, a life coach will bring them to a comfortable and relaxed state. This helps clear the mind of all emotions and drama from the day so the client can be receptive to the possibilities.

Life Coaching is not counseling. There may be some misconceptions as to what life coaching is. Life coaching does not "fix people”, tell a person what to do, judge them, make suggestions, or rescue someone from their current position. It's all about helping someone move forward, knowing they have all the answers within themselves. A Life Coach will help validate those answers and encourage an action plan.

Automatic negative thoughts (ANTs) are the thoughts a person might have right after a great idea. These thoughts limit a person and hold them back from taking action. For example: "I would like to get a better job, but I don’t have the education." Or, "I would like to start my own business, and I have all of these great ideas, but I don’t have enough money." In stead of focusing on how a person is going to make it happen, a Life Coach will help the client focus on the end results, and the feelings of already experiencing their dream as a reality. That is when the first step becomes clear, and it all starts falling into place. -By Rebekah Simpson 928-420-2077

What is a Life Coach and Life Coaching?

Coaching is an exciting new profession that can provide many opportunities to help people discover and achieve their dreams. People need support to survive and thrive in the game of life. Life Coaches support and encourage, without passing judgment or holding anything back.

A Life coach can:
* Empower an executive to become an inspiring leader.
* Assist an entrepreneur to build a profitable business.
* Challenge individuals to accomplish goals and dreams at an accelerated pace.
* Facilitate a person’s ability to find a spiritual perspective in their everyday life.
Coaching is the act of empowerment - - expanding people's awareness through powerful questioning technologies and leveraging their gifts and talents MUCH faster than they could do alone.
The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client's personal life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right now, discovering what obstacles or challenges there might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be.
A Life Coach knows the client has all the answers to every question or challenge deep within them, even if those answers appear to be obscured, concealed or hidden inside. The coaches’ job is to ask the right questions and use right tools and techniques to empower the client to find the answers within themselves.
Life Coaching is a new and rapidly growing profession that is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling.
Life Coaching teaches you to connect your head and your heart in a way that transforms your passion for your dreams into action for your life. Coaching is like having a personal trainer for your life!!
